The Cumberland River ranks as one of the best tailwater destinations in the Southeastern United States. The cold water discharged through the hydro-power dam creates spectacular Rainbow and Brown trout habitat. The rivers fertile water produces prolific insect life, Caddis, Mayflies, Stoneflies and of course Midges. The large amount of food present produces rapid growth rate.

Troy has been guiding on the Cumberland since Spring of 2005. He has been an experience guide from the local waters of Kentucky to famous rivers of Montana to Alaska`s Bristol Bay region to the Keys of Florida. Graduate of Montana State University where I received a Bachelor in Photography. Troy attended Montana Fly Fishing Guide School. U.S.C.G Six-Pack Near Coastal License. He is also CPR and First Aid certified.
