Entomology is one of the most important facets of the fly fishing sport. Understanding what the fish are eating improves your catching success.
Every year Tennessee Traditional Flies and the Middle Tennessee Fly Fishers holds a Entomology Class on the Caney Fork River.

Social Hour 8am to 9am doughnuts, coffee, and share stories.

Session I Class 9am to 12pm

June 1 2019 Tennessee Traditional Flies will hold a classroom session to study Trout Entomology.

Session II Class 9am to 12pm

June 8 2019 Tennessee Traditional Flies will hold a Entomology stream study at the Caney Fork River.

All experience levels are welcome.

Free Purchase is required to reserve a seat in the class.

The sample census and identification will be held at the Long Branch Shelter next to the campground from 9am to 12pm and fly fishing follows the class.
