Premium Elk Hair

Good elk is getting tougher to find. Spirit River high grade our elk. I know you can find it cheaper...but not likely any better. We grade each hide and frankly we return nearly as much as we buy. Spirit River's sticking point is good tips and no junk. As with any natural animal, Spirit River elk varies slightly. This is good because most tiers prefer certain color shades, thickness, or density. Each and every piece is hand graded then cut.

Spirit River premium Tanned Elk is the choice material for Elk Caddis or Stimulators because it is just slightly heavier than deer. Also makes tight floating tails on Hairwings.
And trust me when I say that good elk is hard to find.
