This innovative tool makes spun deer hair bodies quick and easy. Made from tempered brass. Select the proper size "Brassie" for the fly you are tying. Squeeze the tool just firmly enough to enclose the grooves in the tool around the hook shank and then push each bundle of spun hair tightly against the the last bundle of hair that you have previously spun onto the hook. This action will compress all of the bundles of hair together to form a very tightly packed body which can be trimmed to shape.
