Air-Lock Plastic Strike Indicators

Like most fly fishermen I have tried almost every strike indicator ever conceived. Although some personal preferences are always a little bias, in this case I am only interested in what works with the least effort. I have been using the Air-Lock Strike Indicator since the second half of 2016. I am in love with it. It is easy to setup before you enter the water and effortless after you start fishing and need to adjust depth. Does not kink your line and stays exactly where you place it. Simply loosed the cap and slide the indicator up or down as necessary. To remove it altogether if you switch to a streamer is to merely unscrew the cap and off it comes. I have also found that it;s buoyancy is extremely good even for the smallest size. Two tungsten bead head flies will not pull it under. Out of a 1-10 rating I would give it a 9. Nine only because it is possible to lose the cap with cold fingers. I recommend purchasing several spare caps just in case.
